Is there a “dream” board? Join us for a collective conversation as we explore tools and techniques to strengthen the culture and bandwidth of your board.
Often the best learning happens when we share our collective experiences. Due to limited resources, cybercriminals view nonprofits as easy prey sitting on a wealth of personal information about their support staff, clients and donors. Many nonprofits may think they’re not big enough to be a target. However, their smaller size is one of the things that makes them even more appealing to cyber thieves.
Most of us think we have taken the right protections to keep our accounts safe from fraudsters…but what happens when these bad actors infiltrate the accounts of our business partners and send requests from these legitimate sources? Do we have processes in place to protect us from these threats?
You are invited to join First Republic Bank for this engaging session to dispel the myths around cybersecurity. Attendees will:
- Receive real-time updates on the most commonly used fraud tactics
- Learn how to identify messages from genuine contacts vs. fraudsters
- Review methods to protect their information
- Develop strategies to best protect themselves and their organizations
This interactive session will be hosted by security expert extraordinaire Adam Alexander and facilitated by Janet Buck – both from First Republic Bank:
** Bonus: Registered FLN-OC Network Members will receive an opportunity to schedule a one-on-one Internet Security Health Check session, including a personalized Cybersecurity Risk Report, with a First Republic cybersecurity expert following this Crossroads event. These services will be provided at no cost (currently only available for clients of First Republic Bank).
We invite you to learn more about First Republic’s holistic approach to serving the unique needs of your organization, employees and mission at firstrepublic.com/nonprofits.
